Jack Bowers is the founder and operator of Gateway Sport Aviation, LLC. and it is the
newest chapter in his lifelong love of aviation. A pilot at an early age, Jack became an air traffic controller in 1984 and
has been "pushing tin" at St. Louis Approach control ever since. Over the years, he began collecting his ratings
and owning several airplanes. One thing led to another, and Jack began flight instruction for private through ATP and Multi-engine
students. When the FAA released the LSA rules, and brother Dave bought a Remos, it was a natural fit. Now retired from the
FAA, Jack fills his time providing flight instruction, charter flying and of course selling the best LSA on the market, the
Remos GX.
David Bowers was bit by the aviation bug at
an early age also. Already a private pilot, Dave was commissioned as a 2nd Lt. in the U.S. Air force after college,
and entered pilot training. In the Air force, Dave flew the A-10 "Warthog", and the F5 in Arizona and Yemen. Currently
Dave flies B767/757 for Delta Airlines, and has been extremely active in the pre-owned aircraft market. Buying his first Remos
before he even flew it, he'll tell you how much the handling reminds him of the F-5. Go ahead and give him a call.
