TTAF 550

Lycoming O-320 160 hp TSMOH 550

Just finished major restoration.  New avionics installed with new wiring.  New carpet, sidewalls and leather interior.  Paint (2006) is fantastic and always draws a crowd.  Cruise 190 mph while sipping 7.5 gph!  This airplane gets over 25 mpg while covering some serious ground on cross-country.  This is a fixed gear, nose wheel speed machine, which translates into very low insurance expense.  The construction is the best that I’ve seen on any Glasair.  I have individuals question if it is a production built aircraft…it is that nice.

Avionics include:

Dynon D-100 bright screen with AOA and OAT

Garmin 396 GPS with XM weather and radio

Air Gizmo GPS docking

Icom A-210

Narco Nav 122 Glidesope

TruTrak Digiflight II V/S

JPI 450 Fuelflow

Garmin GTX-327 Txp with encoder

Intercom

The GPS is connected to the A/P, Dynon, and the Fuel flow.  This allows the Dynon to display the GPS on the HSI and gives you cruise winds, and true airspeed.  The A/P will fly heading select or GPS track, as well as vertical speed and altitude hold.  The fuel flow will show you current fuel flow, how much fuel is required for your trip and fuel remaining at destination.

This aircraft is setup for the serious cross pilot.  You can turn on the A/P, listen to George Strait while you cruise down the road at over 190 mph.  This is the way to travel while not breaking the bank on your fuel bills.  Life is short…fly fast!!!
